Qualifikationen

• Mindestens 8 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich Gesundheit und Sicherheit mit zunehmender Verantwortung.

We are looking for a Senior HSE Manager (m / f / d), who will be responsible for 9 manufacturing facilities in EMEA within Honeywell's Industrial Automation business (IA). Seven facilities are in Germany and two in Netherlands / Belgium.

As Senior HSE Manager, you must be results driven and able to develop strong relationships with the IA business leaders, our sites and One Honeywell. We need you to be compliance-focused and willing to provide hands-on support to sites with the ability to deploy continuous improvement through a strong Management Operating System, which drives goals and objectives and improves culture and behaviors.

We are looking for a strong people and process leader, capable of managing HSE professionals across multiple strategic business units in Germany and Belgium. The individual must be a well-rounded leader that can manage health, safety and environmental programs in a manufacturing environment and able to coach / mentor a team of HSE professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing a compliance strategy for Honeywell's HSE Management System and regulatory requirements, for all locations.
• Heavy focus on injury reduction and regulatory compliance through culture and behaviors initiatives.
• Improving environmental and sustainability performance (permits, waste management, wastewater compliance, energy and GHG reduction).
• Leading the execution of the Industrial Automation HSE vision and mission through deployment of the HSE Management System.
• Partner with leadership to achieve the formulated goals and objectives.
• Ability to reduce the risk profile of sites in IA by identifying gaps through self-assessments and audits, Gemba's, and agency and 3rd party inspections.
• Lead regional incident investigation and root cause and corrective action process.
• Strong ability to use Lean Practices and Principles to develop, deploy and continuously improve HSE results and improve efficiency.
• Support the IA Germany and Belgium sites with adequate reviews / visits / inspections to drive continuous improvement in HSE.
• Work in concert with Corporate HSEPS to assure consistent and effective auditing of regulatory requirements and Honeywell Level 1 and Level 2 Standards.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering or related technical field.
• At least 8 years of progressive health and safety experience, with increased responsibility.
• Extensive leadership experience.
• Lean or Six Sigma practitioner experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment.
• German speaking is a must (C1 Level at the minimum according to the The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
• Excellent organizational communication - both orally and in writing, and interpersonal skills. Strong English skills (verbal and written skills).
