Your mission

• First point of contact: You are in direct contact with employees and managers, supporting them throughout the employee lifecycle in personnel-related matters.
• Employee Engagement & Communication: Support ongoing communication with employees and managers by conducting and evaluating regular employee appraisals and discussing development plans.
• Employee Experience: Develop our experience design to shape corporate culture through feedback, a positive atmosphere, and collaboration. Implement measures and analyze their effectiveness.
• Sparring partner for managers: Assist departments with organizational changes at the employee level, generate ideas, and structure change management.
• Day-to-day HR processes: Handle onboarding, employment contracts, certificates, references, and other routine HR tasks.
• HR Operations: Enhance existing HR processes, ensure compliance, and maintain efficient operations.
• Projects & other topics: Lead projects to further develop the HR department.

Your profile

• You are a team player with a strong sense for people, adaptable communication skills, and an empathetic, professional demeanor, acting as a competent sparring partner for employees and managers.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as an HR business partner or manager, preferably in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. Previous managerial experience is a plus.
• You are highly organized, able to prioritize independently, act pragmatically when needed, and possess a strong drive for creativity.
• You are responsive, engaging, reliable, and capable of handling topics holistically with strong implementation skills.
• You are an active listener, understand motivations well, and can inspire and convince others.
• You hold a degree in (business) psychology, economics, humanities, education, or similar.
• You have a solid understanding of labor law and can apply it effectively.
• You are experienced with HR software (preferably Personio) and fluent in German and very good in English.

cylib is a research-based German scaleup for holistic battery recycling, founded in Aachen in 2022 by three visionary founders, including a female CEO. We focus on recovering all components of lithium batteries, from discharging to material recovery.

Our process

The cylib process offers an end-to-end solution from battery pack to green battery material, combining mechanical, thermal, and water-based recovery methods for lithium, graphite, manganese, and other materials. Developed over years at RWTH Aachen University, it provides an efficient, resource- and climate-friendly recovery process, enabling a true Circular Economy in Europe.
