What awaits you at Mynaric
- Design of electronic systems across a broad range of electronics, adhering to high-quality standards suitable for space or airborne applications.
- Development of high-speed analog and digital designs, sensors, actuator/motor drives, and power supplies, including complex boards integrating microcontrollers, high ball count FPGAs, memories, and SoCs.
- Responsibility for the entire design cycle: component selection, schematic creation, layout, laboratory testing, design verification, integration, and handing over finished designs to test engineering and production.
- Coordinate among disciplines (electronics, mechanical, optics, control systems, software, simulation) to achieve optimal technical solutions considering all constraints.
- Conduct bench work for testing, debugging, and integrating electronics using laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, and traffic generators.
- Support PCB industrialization activities, interfacing with production and test engineering, writing test specifications, and training test engineers/technicians.
- Opportunities for growth within Mynaric into technical lead or project management roles, including overseeing other engineers' work, making technical decisions, managing schedules, and presenting to customers.
What you bring with you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in hardware development, with 10 or more years preferred.
- A proactive personality that enjoys responsibility, exceeding expectations, working outside comfort zones, and a positive "can do" attitude. Ability to collaborate across disciplines to resolve technical and organizational issues.
- Proficiency with schematic capture, PCB layout, circuit simulation, and experience with ECAD tools (preferably Altium Designer).
- Familiarity with bench instruments like oscilloscopes, analyzers, and power supplies is essential.
- Experience in technical leadership, decision-making on critical technical trades, schedule oversight, and management reporting is advantageous.
- Experience with high-frequency/high-speed design and simulation tools is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of embedded programming in C/C++ and understanding of FPGA programming workflows are welcome.
- Excellent written and spoken English and/or German communication skills.
