Senior Hardware Development Engineer – Hybrid

Location : Stuttgart, Germany (Hybrid – 2 days home office)

Role Overview

• Develop, test, and optimize embedded hardware for industrial control systems.
• Design circuits and PCBs, ensuring compliance with EMC, Low Voltage Directive, and RED.
• Collaborate with software, pre-development, and manufacturing teams.
• Own PCB design and embedded hardware development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop circuit concepts based on project requirements.
• Design, analyze, and optimize electronic modules (Analog, Microcontroller / Digital, or Power Electronics).
• Ensure compliance with EMC, Low Voltage Directive, and industry regulations.
• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of new hardware.
• Work closely with software engineers, pre-development, and manufacturing teams.
• Take ownership of PCB design and embedded hardware development.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills :

• Experience in at least two areas:
• Knowledge of EMC, Low Voltage Directive, RED, or similar regulations.
• Strong debugging and hardware verification skills.

Nice-to-Haves :

• Experience with wireless/wired communication standards.
• Familiarity with high-frequency technology.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, ERP systems.

Tools & Equipment :

• PCB design software (Eagle, Fusion 360, or similar).
• Oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and multimeter.

• Salary: Competitive €70,000 - €100,000 (Up to €110,000 for top candidates).
