Job Description:

We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Golang Developer (m/f/d) to join our SCAYLE Storefront Platform Unit onsite in Hamburg or Berlin (Hybrid setup).

As part of the Storefront Platform Team, you will help develop an innovative hosting platform that enables tenants to seamlessly host their frontends on our infrastructure. We leverage extensive experience in hosting services, providing best-in-class defaults and scalability for optimal performance and reliability.

Our team collaborates closely with DevOps, working with technologies like Kubernetes, Postgres, and Cloudflare to build a robust foundation that allows tenants to focus on delivering excellent user experiences.

Technologies involved include AWS, Redis, and Go.

What you will do

• Build a platform to enable tenants to deploy their frontend services
• Ensure smooth and manageable deployment processes for tenants
• Work on a robust product within the AWS ecosystem
• Draft architectural decisions with the Tech Lead and explore new technologies
• Contribute to team processes through agile retrospectives
• Share knowledge with other developers and participate in ABOUT YOU TECH community

Who you are

• 3+ years of experience building complex backend APIs
• Optional: Experience with Kubernetes and/or Terraform
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and key-value stores (e.g., Redis)
• Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; enjoy building scalable distributed systems
• Comfortable working in an English-speaking & agile environment

Nice to have:

• Experience in the AWS ecosystem
• Familiarity with centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
• Understanding of DevOps, containerization, and cloud solutions
