Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a senior GIS remediation specialist to support Air Force geospatial data quality initiatives. You will diagnose data gaps, lead QA/QC, and drive remediation programs across NexGen IT and TRIRIGA platforms.

In this role, you will translate findings into formal reports, develop dashboards in Power BI, and collaborate with DoD clients to implement sustainable data integrity solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Over 10 years of technical expertise.
• Proficiency in enterprise GIS suites.
• Strong knowledge of CAD/as-built drawings, imagery interpretation, and survey integration.
• Experience diagnosing root-cause data discrepancies, including topology errors.
• Experience implementing systemic data remediation plans.
• Experience utilizing high-accuracy GNSS/GPS collectors, mobile LiDAR, or rangefinders.
• Power BI experience preferred.
• Familiarity with NexGen IT / TRIRIGA.
• U.S. citizenship
• Secret clearance or higher with the Department of Defense

Aufgaben

• Support Air Force geospatial and audit remediation initiatives.
• Identify, investigate, and remediate data gaps across geospatial datasets.
• Evaluate linear structure geometry, segmentation, length, and classification discrepancies between GIS layers and property management systems such as NexGen IT / TRIRIGA
• Execute advanced spatial QA/QC routines to detect missing, obsolete, duplicated, or fragmented spatial data
• Lead virtual technical assistance sessions with base-level Geospatial Integration Offices and Real Property personnel
• Conduct targeted site visits and field validation when desktop data is insufficient
• Establish validation boundaries for underground utilities and linear assets and convert data uncertainty into engineering/survey requirements
• Translate geospatial findings, remediation metrics, and audit progress into documentation, corrective action reports, and executive summaries
• Develop interactive dashboards and reporting views to track data quality improvements and post-remediation metrics
• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to implement sustainable solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Over 10 years of technical expertise
• Proficiency in enterprise GIS suites
• Strong working knowledge of CAD/as-built engineering drawings, aerial imagery interpretation, and survey integration
• Demonstrated experience diagnosing root-cause data discrepancies, including topology errors, schema misalignments, and broken linear networks
• Experience implementing systemic data remediation plans
• Experience utilizing high-accuracy GNSS/GPS collectors, mobile LiDAR, or rangefinders
• Power BI experience preferred
• Familiarity with Air Force Real Property management platforms, including NexGen IT / TRIRIGA, preferred
• U.S. citizenship
• Secret clearance or higher with the Department of Defense
