Senior General Ledger Accountant in a high-tech company

You are part of a collegial team responsible for providing timely and accurate month-end close financials that are compliant with US-GAAP and German GAAP. As a Senior G/L Accountant, you serve as the main contact for questions related to taxes, treasury, accounting, and compliance, using your specialist knowledge to support important business decisions.
Your tasks
In this challenging role, you will:
- Assist with annual statutory audits and tax audits, acting as the contact person for auditors.
- Perform regular cash planning.
- Ensure correct primary accounting and compliance.
- Monitor all accounting processes and implement controls for business process changes.
- Ensure timely financial reporting in accordance with statutory and internal group requirements.
- Participate in reviews as part of the monthly reporting to the parent company and provide information for quarterly financial reviews.
- Collaborate on topics such as sustainability reporting, funding, and complex accounting questions in financial accounting.
- Identify, design, and drive process improvements, including digitalization efforts.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, accounting, bookkeeping, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience (at least 5 years) with complex financial topics, especially in financial reporting and working with auditors.
- Deep knowledge of German GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.
- Experience with tax-related requirements and statutory audits.
- Proficiency with SAP and MS Office applications.
- Fluent in English and proficient in German.
