Zusammenfassung

ACE Alternatives is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant in Berlin, in-person, to lead fund accounting activities for varied alternative assets across GAAPs. You will manage NAV calculations, investor reporting, and liaise with clients, auditors, and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (CPA/CFA in progress a plus) and 1–2 years of fund accounting experience. Willingness to learn VC/PE fund structures is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field; CPA/CFA in progress is a plus.
• 1–2 years (internship) in fund accounting VC/PE or financial services.
• Willingness to learn Venture Capital and Private Equity fund accounting.
• Exposure to fund structures (LP/GP models), waterfalls, and carried interest calculations is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assist accounting activities for ACE clients investing in varied alternative asset classes following different GAAPs (GER GAAP; IFRS; etc.) and industry specific regulations.
• Assist in accounting migration of existing fund structures for new clients.
• Prepare, review and analyze monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements with supporting documentation under various accounting standards.
• Perform Net Asset Value calculations.
• Assist with consolidations; investor reporting, and financial statements preparation.
• Reconciliations of fund draw downs and distributions, accruals, expenses, etc.
• Manage the input double-entry bookkeeping to the accounting system.
• Investor relations support – assist in preparing statements and responses to investor inquiries.
• Assist and prepare fund investor capital statements, fund and investor IRR calculations as required.
• Support liaison with external and internal parties in day-to-day accounting and custom reporting for investor needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with theaccounting activities for ACEclients investing in varied alternative asset classes following different GAAPs (GER GAAP; IFRS; etc.) and industry specific regulations.

• Prepare, review and analyze of monthly/quarterly/annual Financial Statements with supporting documentation underthevarious accounting standards
