Zusammenfassung

GET Fund, a European venture capital fund investing in cleantech, is seeking a Junior Finance & Data Analyst to support monthly/quarterly reporting, budgeting, and liquidity analyses. You will handle data tasks across finance, ESG, and portfolio analytics and help digitize workflows with Excel, BI tools, and automation.

You will contribute to dashboards, KPI definitions, and data quality, while collaborating with the finance, operations, and invest­ment teams in Munich.

Qualifikationen

• Initial relevant professional experience (internship/working student/junior position) in finance, controlling, audit, data analysis, operations, or related fields.
• Very strong proficiency in Excel or similar programs, particularly in creating structured models, spreadsheets, and clean data logic.
• Analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and a hands-on mentality.
• Interest in automation, e.g., using Power BI or Tableau.
• Interest in Impact/ESG and motivation to clearly define measurement logic and data structures.
• Excellent German and English language skills.

Aufgaben

• Finance: Support with monthly/quarterly reporting, budget and liquidity overviews; Preparation of documents for annual financial statements, audits, and tax consulting; Maintenance and further development of financial data (forecasts, KPI logics).
• Data analysis and reporting beyond Finance: Analysis of fund and portfolio data (portfolio KPIs, pipeline/fundraising data, ESG/impact data); Development and maintenance of dashboards and reports (investor updates, internal monitoring, ad hoc analyses); Ensuring data quality (definitions, validation, documentation).
• Process digitization & automation: Identification of recurring tasks and pain points in Finance/Operations; Digitization of workflows; Automation of reports; Collaboration on tool setups and interfaces (CRM/portfolio systems, ESG tools, data rooms).

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a junior professional at the intersection of finance, data, and processes who will bolster our finance functions while also driving data-driven improvements beyond the finance department. This is an important role with room to shape processes, take ownership, and grow with our fund platform over time.

Your role:

1) Finance

• Support with monthly/quarterly reporting, budget and liquidity overviews
• Preparation of documents for annual financial statements, audits, and tax consulting
• Maintenance and further development of financial data (e.g., forecasts, KPI logics)

2) Data analysis and reporting beyond Finance

• Analysis of fund and portfolio data (e.g., portfolio KPIs, pipeline/fundraising data, ESG/impact data)
• Development and maintenance of dashboards and reports (investor updates, internal monitoring, ad hoc analyses
• Ensuring data quality (definitions, validation, documentation)

3) Process digitization & automation

• Identification of recurring tasks and “pain points” in Finance/Operations
• Digitization of workflows (e.g., data flows, reporting packages, approval processes)
• Automation of reports (e.g., Excel/spreadsheets, BI, simple scripts/low-code)
• Collaboration on tool setups and interfaces (CRM/portfolio systems, ESG tools, data rooms)
