About You - Collins GmbH & Co. KG in Hamburg seeks a skilled engineer to build high-traffic web applications using PHP (Laravel) and Vue.js, and to design scalable RESTful APIs. You will own features from conception to production in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with the Lead Engineer on architecture decisions, contribute to technology exploration, and ship code multiple times daily through GitLab CI/CD on AWS ECS with Datadog monitoring. Join a pragmatic, quality-driven team.

Aufgaben

• Build high-traffic web applications with PHP (Laravel) & Vue.JS
• Build internal & external RESTful API as well as Background Jobs (peak times: > 1 million jobs per hour)
• Engage in decisions ranging from UI design to application architecture, together with the Lead Engineer, and explore new technologies
• Lead the technical conception of features that support a newly designed business process.
• Take full ownership of the features you build, from the initial code commit to ensuring they run smoothly in production. You'll be responsible for their health, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Ship code with confidence multiple times a day using our CI/CD Pipeline (Gitlab) to our hosting platform (AWS Elastic Container Service)
• Monitor applications with industry-standard tools (Datadog) through Dashboards & Alerting
• Learn from other developers in a highly skilled team and present your ideas in our regular Tech talks
• Join a pragmatic agile team that values shipping quality code over the full SCRUM ceremony
