ABOUT YOU SE & Co. KG is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer for the Purchasing Interface to join a fast-growing e-commerce tech team in Germany.

You will own features from design to production, building high-traffic web apps using PHP (Laravel) and Vue.js, and creating robust RESTful APIs, with background jobs and scalable architecture. Responsibilities include contributing to UI/architecture choices, delivering reliable code through a modern CI/CD pipeline, and monitoring services with Datadog

• Proven experience with PHP 8 (Laravel) and Vue.js in production.
• Strong design and testing of RESTful APIs and data models.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Git, and containerized deployments.

What you will do

Build high-traffic web applications with PHP (Laravel) & Vue.JS

Build internal & external RESTful API as well as Background Jobs (peak times: > 1 million jobs per hour)

Engage in decisions ranging from UI design to application architecture, together with the Lead Engineer, and explore new technologies

Lead the technical conception of features that support a newly designed business process.

Take full ownership of the features you build, from the initial code commit to ensuring they run smoothly in production. You'll be responsible for their health, performance, and long-term maintainability.

Ship code with confidence multiple times a day using our CI/CD Pipeline (Gitlab) to our hosting platform (AWS Elastic Container Service)

Monitor applications with industry-standard tools (Datadog) through Dashboards & Alerting

Learn from other developers in a highly skilled team and present your ideas in our regular Tech talks

Join a pragmatic agile team that values shipping quality code over the full SCRUM ceremony

Who you are

• Excellent coding skills in PHP 8 (Laravel)
• Experience with Vue 3
• Experience in designing and implementing E2E, integration & unit tests
• Solid background in building complex and beautiful products which provide an excellent user experience
• Expertise in designing, securing, and scaling RESTful APIs
• Experience working with AWS, Git, Valkey, or equivalent
• Hand-on Experience with relational database design & performance optimization (i. e. MySQL 8)
• Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check
• Ready to work in an English-speaking environment
