ABOUT YOU, Hamburg, is seeking a Business Development Manager - Buying (all genders) to drive strategic and operational initiatives across teams. Based in a fast-moving e-commerce environment, you will partner with Directors, conduct analyses, and define KPIs to guide growth and profitability.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution in a scale-up, with a focus on collaboration, structured problem solving, and delivering on time. Full-time, on-site in Hamburg, Germany.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• Several years of practical experience in strategy and business development or project management, ideally in a leading management consultancy.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving scale-up with a hands-on mindset.
• Quick comprehension and structured way of working.

Responsibilities

• Understand the roles and systems of different teams to coordinate projects effectively
• Lead strategic and operational projects across teams, ensuring they are completed on time and meet goals
• Act as a sparring partner for strategic initiatives driven by the Directors
• Conduct complex analyses and independent research to support project decisions and planning
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas to improve business growth and profitability
• Communicate clearly and work well with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and steer projects effectively
