Senior Fullstack Engineer (Part of Early-Stage / Co-Founding Team)

Scalier is building an AI performance marketing manager to replace operational marketing employees in ecommerce SMEs. Starting with autonomous ad spend- and pricing management, we save our clients a tremendous amount of cost and improve their revenue performance. Building defendable and proprietary frontier technology in ecommerce, we have completed an accelerator programme, secured the first funding, launched the MVP and deployed with first clients after very successful beta-tests.

Our dream team consists of a senior online marketing expert from well-known ecommerce scale-ups, an AI expert with decades of experience building AI products, most recently at the leading consultancy, and a data science specialist. We are looking to extend our early-stage team with the option to join the co-founding team. As our co-founding Fullstack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and navigating the next generation of automation in e-commerce! Please note that you must be based in Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Actively shape the product roadmap, contribute to the design and development of our AI suite architecture
• Collaborate with the business-/product team and clients to define engine requirements
• Design client side and server-side architecture
• Build front end applications
• Develop and manage databases, write APIs
• Test software to ensure quality, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Optimize and refactor existing code
• Write technical documentation

Requirements:

• 5 years or more work experience in fullstack engineering roles
• Experience with Python, fastAPI, pydantic, and PyMongo
• Experience with TypeScript in frontend applications ReactJs
• Familiarity with GraphQL on both backend and frontend
• Experience with AWS and DevOps

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1.5 years or more experience with e-commerce marketing or online retail platforms and their APIs, especially Amazon
• Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques
• Experience with pricing or advertising projects
• Good communication skills and customer relation skills
• Optional: skills in UI/UX design and development
