Your mission

You are a dedicated software developer (m/f/x) with a passion for your craft. Your primary focus will be on the backend, where you will meticulously design the core architecture and implement new features for our service. Your commitment extends to the continuous enhancement of software performance and user-friendliness.

Here's how you'll make an impact:

• You implement exciting backend features in Kotlin and Spring Boot in an agile Scrum team, maintain and develop them further.
• You spearhead the migration from PHP (with Zend Framework) to Kotlin.
• You optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• You develop an API according to the OpenAPI specification.
• You take ownership of your team's services and help shape our DevOps culture.
• You share your knowledge with your team and contribute to its further development.
• You will also develop in the frontend with React and TypeScript and follow a holistic approach. (Backend-frontend share approx. 70 to 30 %).

Your Qualification:

• You have several years of practical experience as a full-stack developer (m/f/x) for web applications and have in-depth experience, particularly in the backend with Kotlin and Spring.
• Object-oriented programming with Java, Kotlin and working in databases (e.g. MySQL) are child's play for you.
• You have prior experience with our front-end technologies: TypeScript / JavaScript, React or Angular.
• You are familiar with design patterns and the principles of secure software development (OWASP).
• You are enthusiastic about the DevOps approach and possess familiarity with other topics such as REST, Docker, NoSQL databases, cloud-based infrastructure, etc.
• You are fluent in English (Speaking German is a plus) and live in Germany.
• You like coding as much as we do!
