We are looking for a Senior FullStack Engineer who is passionate about delivering our innovative software stack for real-time management of complex industrial processes that set the industry standard.

What you'll do at Daedalus

1. Build and ship the tech stack that runs our factory of the future, including production scheduling, workflow orchestration, real-time integration with industrial machines, and more.
2. Own features end-to-end, focusing on either frontend or backend, while being willing to contribute to other areas, emphasizing a holistic approach to software development.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions into a fascinating and challenging business domain.
4. Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of our software systems.
5. Work closely with our product team to develop user stories and identify opportunities to add business value.

Who you are

1. 5 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining modern web applications across the stack, from intuitive frontend interfaces to robust backend systems.
2. Proven experience in shipping real software products in complex enterprise SaaS web applications.
3. You have a strong technical and delivery mindset and are comfortable making technical decisions that balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
4. You thrive in collaborative environments, contribute actively to team discussions, and mentor less experienced engineers when appropriate.
5. Eagerness to develop generalist skills alongside deepening expertise in frontend and backend technologies.
6. You have profound experience with modern technologies to build applications. At Daedalus, we use Python, Django, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, and Bazel. However, experience with this exact stack is not required; we value the ability to learn new tools quickly and select the best tool for the task.
