Job summary

WorkMotion is seeking a highly experienced Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Notification Center Team. You will own the design and delivery of multi-channel communications, operating in a self-organized agile environment to serve thousands of international companies and their remote employees.

We value hands-on developers with strong backend and cloud skills who thrive on scalable, observable systems and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience delivering high-availability software.
• Hands-on across the lifecycle – from requirements and design to implementation, testing and operations.
• Experience in Agile/Lean, DevOps/GitOps, or modern UI development preferred.
• Strong problem solving and fast learning with pragmatic tool selection.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate production services end-to-end in an agile, product-focused team.
• Develop and evolve the Notification Center ecosystem with resilient, observable microservices for multi-channel communications.
• Write lean, well-tested code (unit, integration, acceptance) and apply BDD where beneficial.
• Automate infrastructure and delivery (GitOps/CI/CD) to speed up releases with proper guardrails.
• Instrument production with metrics, logs and traces and drive incident learning.

In this role, you will be a key player in a self-organized agile team, working on the core system responsible for managing, orchestrating, and routing all WorkMotion platform notifications. How you'll make an impact

• You design, build, test, deploy, and operate production services end-to-end in an agile, product-focused team
• You develop and evolve our Notification Center ecosystem, creating resilient, observable, and horizontally scalable microservices to orchestrate multi-channel communications
• You raise the quality bar by writing lean, well-tested code (unit, integration, acceptance) and using BDD where it adds value
• You automate everything by codifying infrastructure and delivery (GitOps/CI/CD) to boost speed with the right guardrails
• You keep production healthy by instrumenting metrics, logs, and traces, and turning incidents into learning

What you'll need

• You have 8+ years of professional experience in delivering high-availability software
• You bring depth in one or two areas: backend, event-driven architectures, observability, cloud, and strong secondary skills across others, connecting dots across the stack
• You are hands-on across the lifecycle – from requirements and design to implementation, testing, and operations
• You have significant experience in at least two of the following: Agile/Lean, BDD, DevOps/GitOps, multiple programming languages, or modern UI development
• You learn fast and stay pragmatic – choosing the right tool for the job
