About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Full‑Stack Developer to join a rapidly scaling, bootstrapped SaaS provider headquartered in central Kempten im Allgäu. Originally created to solve a genuine operational agency challenge, our software has evolved into an essential everyday platform trusted by hundreds of agencies throughout the DACH region.

Working within a tight‑knit and self‑directed engineering team, you will take total ownership of entire feature lifecycles—spanning system architecture, database design, frontend execution, and cloud release. Our engineering culture prioritizes practical execution, clean code, and individual initiative over red tape and rigid ticket management.

Key Responsibilities

End‑to‑End Feature Execution

• Conceptualize, engineer, and scale new platform functionalities across both the frontend and backend of our SaaS environment.

API Architecture & Optimization

• Construct, integrate, and refine resilient APIs and backend services.

Database Maintenance

• Structure, index, and optimize MongoDB instances to guarantee optimal speed and stability.

Software Quality & Reliability

• Maintain rigorous engineering standards through automated test suites, troubleshooting, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and thorough peer code reviews.

Architectural Direction

• Actively participate in architectural decisions, technology stack upgrades, and overall platform scalability strategies.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner directly with product management and UI/UX designers within an agile framework while mentoring peers and fostering technical growth.

What We Are Looking For

Core Qualifications

• Language Skills: Native‑level German (C2) fluency for internal team collaboration, combined with solid conversational English (B1+) for daily technical execution.
• Professional Track Record: At least 5 years of commercial software engineering experience, preferably within a SaaS or web product ecosystem.
• Technology Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with TypeScript, Vue.js, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Tailwind CSS (full MEVN framework).
• Engineering Standards: Solid experience with unit/integration testing, root‑cause debugging, database optimization, and automated cloud release pipelines.
• Work Style: A self‑starting, autonomous mindset focused on writing elegant, sustainable code alongside a commitment to guiding features from concept to production.

Preferred Qualifications

• Secondary Frameworks: Hands‑on familiarity with React.js in addition to Vue.js.
