With Tess (gotess.de) we are building the first AI-agent for SMB-accounting on top of DATEV (Germany's most widely used legacy accounting software). Leveraging LLMs and AI-powered automation, Tess empowers accounting firms close books in record speed, thereby helping accounting firms tackle an industry-wide shortage of skilled talent.

📈We are growing extremely fast: We already serve >100 accounting firms, >600 bookkeepers and process >5,000 invoices per day.

🔧 What You'll Do

• Build intuitive, high-quality UI components for our core product
• Implement frictionless UI for invoice approvals, payments & document management
• Work closely with design, backend, and AI engineers to ship features end-to-end
• Own features across their lifecycle — from sketch to production to iteration
• Translate user feedback and business needs into elegant, scalable interfaces

🧠 What You Bring

• Technical Background: Worked on multiple data-heavy web apps in the past
• Frontend Experience: Strong skills in modern frontend development
• Tech Stack: React, Tailwind, Storybook, Next.js (experience in some, curiosity for the rest)
• Ownership & Growth Mindset: You take initiative and always try to deliver like "WOW"
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (German is not required)
