With a team of around 20 people working from our offices in Germany and remotely, we're searching for talented individuals who share our passion for continuous learning and tackling challenges alongside our founding team.

Tasks

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will take ownership of leading the development and optimisation of our user-centric web applications by seamlessly integrating advanced frontend technologies. In particular, you will:

• Design and implement web application components using TypeScript, Vue.js 3, and Vuetify to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Proactively identify and drive frontend improvements, optimising performance, accessibility, and maintainability of our web applications.
• Manage frontend environments, oversee deployments, and ensure smooth release processes for our web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, product, business) to align engineering efforts and ensure seamless integration tailored to customer needs.
• Mentor and support Junior Engineers by sharing your expertise and best practices in modern frontend development, including coding patterns, testing strategies, and performance optimisation.

Requirements

Essential skills and experiences:

• At least 3 years of experience in developing web applications
• Extensive experience with TypeScript and its practical application
• Production-level experience with Vue.js 3 and Vuetify (or comparable CSS frameworks)
• Familiarity with state management tools, such as Pinia
• Experience integrating external services using REST APIs
• Proficiency with modern SCM, build, and release tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker)

Nice-to-have skills and experiences:

• Proficient in quality assurance using Vitest
• Experience with backend-as-a-service platforms, such as Firebase or Supabase
• Expirience with UI and UX Design in Figma
