About the Team

Corporate Bank Technology is undertaking a multi-year technology refresh, including revitalization of "Channel" applications for payment initiation. You will work on developing a global payment initiation platform with React-based micro frontends, backed by Java micro-services in a containerized environment. The platform uses Kafka for event streaming and various datastores such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, HBase, and MongoDB.

You will collaborate with engineers on the platform, embracing agile practices to incrementally add functionality, focusing on automation. You will partner with business and technology managers to define modules and enhancements that enable Deutsche Bank's clients to initiate payments in real time and access account balances & statements in near real time. You will help create a digital environment that fosters knowledge sharing, expertise, and passion for our business. Deutsche Bank is investing heavily in technology, which means investing in you. What You’ll Do

• Design and develop new functionality, participate in UX design
• Partner with UI/UX Design Team, Architects, Business Analysts, and Stakeholders across regions and time zones; understand requirements
• Learn and understand the corporate bank cash business to grow as a subject matter expert
• Design and implement subsystems and intersystem protocols
• Improve existing processes with QA team
• Maintain hygiene, risk, control, and stability; investigate and fix production incidents; enhance stability and monitoring

Skills You’ll Need

• Experience in Web UI development (HTML5, CSS, JS, TypeScript, React, Angular 4/5)
• Proficiency in functional programming concepts
• Knowledge of RxJS and service workers is a bonus
• Proficiency in testing tools
• Experience with SDLC tools like Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity is a plus
• Knowledge of backend technologies (Java, Spring) and interest in full-stack development is a plus
