chargecloud is seeking a senior frontend architect to modernize and evolve a complex web application. You will drive architectural decisions, raise the bar on UI consistency, accessibility, and testing while contributing to a reusable component ecosystem.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver user-centric experiences and accelerate delivery through smart, scalable frontend solutions and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification.
• Several years of hands-on frontend architecture and modernization.
• Strong proficiency in Vue, Nuxt and TypeScript.
• Experience contributing to reusable component libraries, UI patterns, or design systems.
• Solid understanding of testing practices (Unit and E2E).
• Sound knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

What you will do

• Modernize a business-critical frontend application hands‑on by reducing technical debt, refactoring legacy code, and driving pragmatic engineering decisions that balance speed, quality, and long‑term sustainability
• Establish and evolve frontend standards across areas such as UI consistency, accessibility (WCAG), testing practices, and overall code quality
• Contribute to reusable component libraries and design system integrations to improve consistency and scalability across the product
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to deliver user‑centered experiences and align technical solutions with business needs
• Drive meaningful modernization increments into production, bringing ownership, clarity, and technical direction to complex frontend initiatives
• You integrate AI into your daily work to move faster, solve problems smarter, and continuously improve outcomes – because this is core to how we scale and innovate as a company

Your profile

• You have a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification that serves as your technical foundation
• Several years of hands‑on experience in frontend architecture and modernization of complex web applications
• Strong proficiency in Vue, Nuxt and TypeScript – you build with them confidently and productively
• Experience contributing to reusable component libraries, UI patterns, or design systems
• Solid understanding of testing practices (particularly Unit and E2E testing)
• Sound knowledge of accessibility standards and ideally practical experience with WCAG‑oriented implementation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross‑functional teams with Product, Design, and Engineering
• Resilient and focused in the face of ambiguity; comfortable navigating large‑scale change projects
• You are fluent in English; German is a plus
