Senior Frontend Engineer

Youll become a Front End Engineer of our end-to-end LLM platform deepset AI Platform and work with our enterprise customers.

We are on the forefront of AI and constantly rethink how developers will build LLM applications in the future giving you the opportunity to shape workflows and the landscape of AI platforms.

As a frontend expert you will be an owner of all frontend-related tasks and work closely with our wider product team to help shape our product further whilst also contributing to the evolution of our design system. You will therefore be in a position to drive your area of expertise and contribute to the decision-making for the future of our awesome LLMs products.

Your impact

• Own features end-to-end from ideation to production. Collaborate with your cross-functional Product team to build, iterate, and ship new features to shape our customers' experience.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, reusable, and customizable components for complex web applications.
• Review pull requests (PRs) for code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices. Perform maintenance tasks including PR updates and system repairs as necessary.
• Mentor other engineers and help them grow in their careers.
• Occasionally take ownership of firefighting tasks resolving urgent issues as they arise.
• Drive software engineering best practices focus on customer-oriented solutions improve CI/CD documentation and more.

Your profile

• 5 years of experience as a Front-End Engineer preferably with smaller teams in a growth/startup environment.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and design patterns with an emphasis on performance optimization and debugging.
• Proficient in testing code and experienced with testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Back-End technologies (preferably Python) is a plus.
• Familiarity with LLM/NLP is a plus.
• Previous experience building software for enterprise clients is a significant advantage.
• Proactive and results-oriented with the ability to contribute constructively and align with team decisions.
• Remote-first or hybrid.
