Are you an experienced Frontend Engineer who’s eager to create innovative solutions in the world of retail procurement? If so, the PRIME team at Wolt may be your next big challenge – we’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help us build our foundation for a fully automated procurement system!

We’re the PRIME(Purchasing, Replenishment, Inventory Management, EDI) team, and our mission is to handle the end-to-end procurement flow for 1P/3P retail business. From demand forecasting to vendor management, from ordering to invoicing flows – we do it all! This is a cross-functional environment where Design, Frontend, Backend, and Data specialists work hand-in-hand to ensure a seamless procurement process for our internal stakeholders and external partners.

You’ll be joining a newly established team with a real opportunity to influence product roadmaps, tech choices, and ways of working. As a senior engineer, you’ll be a driving force behind designing and implementing user-facing features that connect our tools with backend systems. The projects you build will directly influence the efficiency of retail operations and empower our teams to make smarter procurement decisions.

Our scope is both broad and deep – you’ll solve challenges from building robust, scalable UI components for complex data visualizations (e.g., forecast dashboards) to integrating external and internal procurement APIs. It’s an environment where your ideas matter, and you can bring fresh solutions to real-world problems.

• Modern Frontend: We leverage React + TypeScript to deliver streamlined user experiences.
• Best Practices: We value clean code, maintainability, and testability. Tools like Playwright, Sentry and Datadog are part of our toolbox.
• Autonomy & Ownership: Each team is responsible for their own technical decisions and end-to-end development – from setting up CI/CD pipelines to ensuring reliable cloud deployments.
• Collaboration & Support: Although we work autonomously, there’s support from central teams when you need it. We also partner with various product and engineering groups to build top-tier procurement solutions.

Who we’re looking for

• Seasoned React Engineer: Several years of hands-on experience with React & TypeScript, delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable frontend applications.
• Progressive Web Apps (PWA) & Mobile-First Web Design: Passionate about building responsive and reliable web experiences.
• User-Centric Mindset: You love crafting intuitive UI and see frontend as a bridge to delighting users (whether they’re internal or external).
• Strong Ownership & Autonomy: You take initiative, drive projects independently, and are comfortable making critical decisions that shape the product.
• Eager to Build & Improve: You enjoy creating new services from scratch, but you also know how to refine and optimize existing features for better performance.
• Passion for Quality: You believe in writing clean, testable code and ensuring its health through CI/CD, code reviews, and automation.
