Jobtailor in Germany is seeking a senior software engineer to design and implement scalable architectures using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. You will write, test, and debug complex code for new and existing applications, and deliver code to production in line with business expectations.

You will mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews for quality and security, document technical designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar senior engineering role
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, state management libraries, build tools, package managers, and web testing frameworks
• Experience with microfrontend architectures and Module Federation patterns, including Webpack Module Federation, dynamic remote loading, and shared dependency management
• Ability to analyze code, debug complex issues, optimize performance, and develop proofs of concept (PoCs)
• Understanding of web performance metrics and browser performance optimization, including Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), FCP, TTFB, TBT, Speed Index, TTI, bundle size, and JavaScript parsing and execution performance
• Understanding of browser internals, SPAs and static websites, client-server architecture, REST APIs, SSR, web security, and UI/UX patterns
• Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Upper-Intermediate English level
