Multiverse (formerly StackFuel) seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers, translating business needs into end-to-end AI solutions and products. You will deploy, monitor, and test AI systems that run in production while ensuring GDPR compliance in the EU.
With 5+ years in software development, you will engage across engineering and product teams, using Python (FastAPI/Django) and TypeScript/React, and you will travel to customer sites as needed.
For years, StackFuel has been one of Germany's leading providers of data and AI training. Since early 2026, we have been part of Multiverse, Europe's only EdTech unicorn and the continent's largest AI upskilling platform. Together, we are pursuing a clear goal: to make 100,000 employees in Germany AI-ready and close the country's data and AI skills gap. You'll join as one of the first people in our new FDE unit, which we plan to expand significantly over the coming years, giving you plenty of room to shape things and the opportunity to take on responsibility for the team and methodology early on.
As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (f/m/d), you'll work exactly where this goal becomes reality: directly with our internal and external customers, at the intersection of technology and real business needs. You enjoy taking end-to-end ownership, understand what large companies and their business units need, and turn that into AI solutions that run in production and deliver measurable impact.
This role is probably not the right fit if you prefer working with clearly defined tickets and would rather leave customer conversations to others. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll sit at the table with business units yourself, ask the right questions, and figure out what's actually needed.
A solution‑oriented, data‑driven way of working, an open feedback culture, and strong team spirit. Two Trustees, elected by the entire StackFuel team, act as a neutral, confidential point of contact for your questions and concerns.
Take on responsibility from day one, actively contribute your own ideas, shape processes sustainably, and have a real influence on how we work.
We work in a hybrid model and are usually in our Berlin office 3 days a week.
Work from anywhere in the EU, the EEA, and Turkey for up to 10 days per year.
Regular team exchanges, seasonal celebrations, and an always well‑stocked kitchen make for a lively atmosphere.
Take our online trainings to expand your skills and become an expert in data and AI.
