Qualifikationen

• Mindestens 10 Jahre Erfahrung in der Schuhindustrie, insbesondere mit EVA und PU.
• Starkes Know-how in der Schuhherstellung und Konstruktion.

For our Product Creation department, at our location in Cologne we are looking for a :

YOUR SHOES TO FILL :

As a senior product developer, you are responsible for the development of EVA and PU-related footwear (Direct Injected Footwear) and manage technical solutions from initial designs through planning, prototyping, 3D constructions, mold making and pre-production bulk readiness.

You manage component developments with material suppliers as well as oversee the 3D constructions and mold making processes.

In this multifaceted position, your responsibilities will encompass various areas from working directly with the Design and Product Line management teams within product creation to collaborating with the Product Engineering team to ensure that the product is ready for bulk production.

You work directly with internal and external tooling and mold making partners.

YOUR WALK OF LIFE :

1. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the footwear industry with special focus on EVA and PU injected footwear.
2. Distinct know-how of footwear manufacturing methods, construction, materials and mold making.
3. Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills with an eye for detail and problem solving.
4. A curious mind with a passion for products, technical development, and production methods.
5. English business fluent; German is an advantage.
6. Experienced in working with data management software (ideally SAP) and MS Office.
7. Willingness to travel frequently.
