Tasks

Flutter Fullstack Software Engineer HL7/FHIR

You will be building mobile and web-based digital health apps in Flutter, creating compelling applications for patients and healthcare professionals. Your mission will be to drive all software engineering tasks from the get-go. Our customers are both our portfolio companies and external clients. Depending on the stage of the project you will be joining, you will interact with customers and users from the very beginning. You will closely cooperate with a team of entrepreneurs along this journey.

Our backend technology is built on Dart, implementing an HL7 FHIR data store which we are maintaining as a separate product. Ideal candidates are able to work both on the frontend and on the backend components.

We are looking for someone who is willing to go into uncharted territory, for whom the experience of the journey matters more than following a pre-planned path. We are looking for someone who can work with the undefined and who thrives in a team of like-minded people, rather than working alone and doing things by the book.

Role & Responsibilities

• Development of products from prototype through MVP until launch.
• Playing an active role in driving the technology roadmap and innovation process.
• Delivery of the start-up’s software product(s).
• Creating and maintaining both frontend and backend components.
• Writing testable, production-quality code.

Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience as a software engineer.
• Strong knowledge in app development with Flutter, ideally combined with experience in writing native code.
• Demonstrated experience in shipping testable working code.
• Understanding of front-end & back-end technologies and platforms.
• Ideally strong UX and design capabilities with a desire to sweat the small stuff.
• Knowledge of Scrum or other agile methodologies.
• Desire to work in an agile, fast-paced, collaborative start-up environment.
• Ideally located in Munich or CET time zone.
