Job Description

As the Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Omio, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various financial aspects of the organisation. You will serve as a finance business partner, working closely with various teams within the organisation to ensure that financial objectives and strategies are aligned with the company's overall goals.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Compile and present comprehensive monthly management and financial reports to both internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct in-depth reviews and delta analyses of financial data, provide commentary, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Lead the bi-annual OPEX/CAPEX budgeting process
• Track and report on the development of CAPEX spending towards internally generated intangible assets
• Collaborate closely with group function leaders as a trusted finance business partner, offering insights and guidance on all financial matters
• Work closely with the accounting teams to provide support during the month-end closing process, and perform month-end reviews to ensure the financial statements are complete and accurate
• Train and mentor the junior members of the team
• Generate and present ad hoc financial reports and analyses as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a financial controller / FP&A Manager, or similar role, with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations (IFRS, HGB)
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g. Workday)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
