Amazon Supply Chain forms the backbone of the fastest growing ecommerce business in the world. The sheer growth of the business and the company's mission "to be Earth’s most customer-centric company" makes the customer fulfilment business bigger and more complex with each passing year. The CF Finance team is responsible for ensuring that the planning and execution of the EU fulfilment is implemented in the most cost optimal way.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team, where you will provide visibility to drive Amazon forward. The Volume and Mix Finance team continuously seeks improvements in inbound and outbound metrics, including optimizing inventory placement, processing efficiencies, maximizing speed, and minimizing travel distance to deliver excellent customer experiences.

This role offers the opportunity to understand how business decisions are made by gathering insights critical for shaping our future. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you should be a quick thinker: capable of managing competing priorities and providing balanced guidance, even during unexpected events.

Key job responsibilities

1. Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance.
2. Accurately report on EU strategic projects, share financial analysis with business partners, and make recommendations to reduce costs or optimize operational metrics.
3. Create meaningful reports to support strategic decision-making through data collection and analysis.
4. Perform root cause analysis, deep dive into variances to budgets for the network, and identify risks and opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree.
• Relevant experience in a finance role leading projects or programs and partnering with multiple stakeholders within a business.
• Experience working with Excel, reporting tools, and large-scale data mining tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau.
• Experience in financial modeling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor's degree in finance, Mathematics, or Economics.
• Experience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challenges.
• Experience working in a large team or fast-paced, corporate environment.
• Experience making strategic business decisions and managing internal relationships.
