Amazon Supply Chain forms the backbone of the fastest growing ecommerce business in the world. The sheer growth of the business and the company's mission "to be Earth’s most customer-centric company" makes the customer fulfilment business bigger and more complex with each passing year. The CF Finance team is responsible for ensuring that the planning and execution of the EU fulfilment is implemented in the most cost optimal way.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team, where you will provide the visibility needed to drive Amazon forward. The Volume and Mix Finance team continuously seeks improvement in inbound and outbound metrics, including inventory placement, processing efficiencies, speed, and travel minimization, to deliver an excellent customer experience.

This role offers the opportunity to understand how business decisions are made by gathering insights to shape our future. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you are a quick thinker: able to manage competing priorities and provide level-headed guidance, even during unexpected events.

Key job responsibilities

1. Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance.
2. Accurately report on EU-level strategic projects, share financial analysis with business partners, and make recommendations to reduce costs or optimize operational metrics.
3. Create meaningful reports to support strategic decision-making through data collection and analysis.
4. Perform root cause analysis, deep dive into variances to budgets for the network, and identify risks and opportunities.

Minimum qualifications

• A degree in a relevant field such as finance, Mathematics, or Economics.
• Relevant experience leading finance projects or programs and partnering with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with Excel, reporting tools, and large-scale data mining tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau.
• Experience in financial modeling.
• Experience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challenges.
• Experience working in a large team or fast-paced, corporate environment.
• Experience making strategic business decisions and managing internal relationships.
