Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :
- Responsible for the correct and timely execution of key responsibilities in the Local Finance area of Corporate Accounting according to the requirements of HGB, IFRS and the Group Finance Manual.
- Supports organizational effectiveness through the identification and implementation of process improvements
Key Responsibilities :
- Be a partner with the business with regards to Accounting topics and determine the correct Accounting treatments of complex transactions
- Execution of month-end closing Accounting and Reporting tasks under HGB and IFRS
- Advise project teams on areas relating to system implementations and developments
- Ensure clear and complete set of procedures / process documentation within own area of responsibility to support the department targets
- Provide support for year-end, tax or interim audits

Knowledge Skills and Abilities :
- Qualified Bilanzbuchhalter / -in with experience of HGB and IFRS
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of SAP FI is preferred
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and analyse complex situations and calculations
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :
- Accounting Education with further education as accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter / -in)
- Experience with MS Office
- Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in Accounting
