Job summary

GGG GUS Germany GmbH sucht eine/n Finance-Experten mit Schwerpunkt Rechnungswesen, um das Team bei der externen Berichterstattung, Buchhaltung und Budgetierung zu unterstützen. Ihre Aufgaben umfassen Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse, Journalbuchungen, Abstimmungen sowie die Einhaltung HGB/IFRS.

Sie bringen 1–3 Jahre Auditorenerfahrung, solides Finanzwissen, Excel- und ERP-Kenntnisse (Unit4/Oracle/Dynamics) sowie analytische Fähigkeiten mit.

Qualifications

• 1–3 Jahre Erfahrung in externer Prüfung bei einer anerkannten Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (bevorzugt).
• Erfahrung in Finanzbuchhaltung und Finanzberichterstattung.
• Erfahrung in Budgetierung, Forecasting oder Controlling ist vorteilhaft.
• Erfahrung in einem internationalen Umfeld ist wünschenswert.

Responsibilities

• Unterstützung des monatlichen, quartalsweisen und jährlichen Abschlussprozesses.
• Bearbeitung von Journalbuchungen, Abstimmungen und Bilanzkonten.
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von HGB und IFRS (wo anwendbar).
• Mitwirkung bei Jahresabschlüssen und externen Prüfungen.
• Unterstützung bei Verbesserungen von Finanzprozessen und internen Kontrollen.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, General Ledger sowie Geschäftsbereichen.

Your Responsibilities

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• Financial Accounting
  
  
  
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
  
  
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts.
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with German GAAP and IFRS (where applicable).
  
  
  • Assist with statutory financial statements and external audits.
  
  
  • Support accounting process improvements and internal controls.
  
  
  • Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and General Ledger teams and Business partners of each University.
  
  
  
  


• Controlling & Financial Analysis
  
  
  
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
  
  
  • Prepare monthly management reports and financial analyses.
  
  
  • Perform actual vs. budget and forecast variance analyses.
  
  
  • Monitor departmental costs and financial performance.
  
  
  • Develop financial models and ad hoc analyses to support management decisions.
  
  
  • Assist in KPI reporting and performance monitoring.
  
  
  • Support business cases and investment analyses
  
  
  
  


• Business Partnering
  
  
  
  • Work with department managers to understand financial performance.
  
  
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  
  
  • Assist with cost optimization initiatives and financial planning activities.

  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting.
  
  
  • Support finance transformation initiatives and system enhancements.
  
  
  • Contribute to the development of standardized reporting and documentation
  
  
  
  

Your profile

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in external audit with a recognized audit firm (preferred).


• Experience in financial accounting and financial reporting.


• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or controlling is an advantage.


• Experience in an international environment is desirable.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.


• Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB). Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.


• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.


• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Unit 4, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage.


• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.

Languages

• Good working proficiency, both written and spoken, to collaborate in an international environment.
