Welcome to your new role as our next Senior Field Service Engineer!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving as the interface between our customers and Sungrow
• Taking ownership of dispatched customer issues
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
• Coordinating field service schedules and resource allocation
• Participating in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives
• Leading small project teams or regional service efforts as assigned
• Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
• Diagnosing errors and technical problems
• Delivering support and contributing service solutions for customers
• Performing on-site installation, repair, maintenance, testing, upgrades, or rework activities
• Supporting project management during commissioning and site acceptance
• Following operational procedures, processes, and practices as documented
• Adhering to health and safety regulations
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation, work instructions, and processes for service contracts

Your profile:

• Training as an electrical technician, master electrician (Elektrotechnikermeister HWK), or electrician with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with medium-voltage switchgear, string inverters, and central inverters
• Experience configuring network interfaces and communication protocols
• Proficiency in German and English at least at C1 level
• Willingness to work on call duty
• Experience with Battery Storage solutions is beneficial
• Experience handling critical customer situations
• Willingness to travel
• Driving license is essential
