Welcome to your new role as our next Senior Field Service Engineer!

You will have a wide array of responsibilities such as :

• Interface between our customers and Sungrow
• Take ownership of dispatched customer issues
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior field engineers and technicians
• Assist in coordinating field service schedules and resource allocation
• Participate in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives
• Lead small project teams or regional service efforts as assigned
• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
• Run diagnosis on errors or technical problems
• Deliver support and contribute service solutions for our customers
• Perform all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks, as well as upgrades or rework activities
• Support the Project Management during commissioning and site acceptance services
• Follow operational procedures, processes, and practices as defined, documented, and consistently applied
• Follow applicable health and safety instructions and regulations
• Ensure up-to-date documentation, work instructions, and processes for existing and upcoming service contracts and agreements

Your profile

• Training as an electrical technician, master electrician (Elektrotechnikermeister HWK), or electrician with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with medium-voltage switchgear, string inverters, and central inverters
• Experience configuring network interfaces and communication protocols
• German & English language skills at least at C1 level
• Willing to work on call duty
• Experience with battery storage solutions is beneficial
• Experience dealing with customers in critical situations
• Willingness to travel
• Driving license is essential for the job
