Jobbeschreibung

Surveys - Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on NFPA Standards and other relevant guidelines.

Develop recommendations based on standards, including loss estimates before and after implementation of recommendations.

Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.

Report and assess building construction, occupancy, and natural or special hazards.

Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss.

Provide training and peer review for other consultants; serve as a technical resource to colleagues.

Services include training, manual and program development, and regulatory interpretation.

May prepare and present proposals, develop service instructions, solicit client feedback, and prepare stewardship reports.

Work involves high technical expertise and direct contact with upper management, including risk and financial managers.

Maintain professional conduct and excellent communication skills for interactions with clients and management.

Provide project management services, including site visits, plan reviews, and presentations.

Manage work effectively using the database system.

Functional Requirements

• Review and respond to client and internal communications.
• Conduct fieldwork, report writing, consulting, and plan review.
• Monitor workloads and adjust plans accordingly.
• Physical requirements: climb ladders, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, stoop, crouch, crawl, traverse catwalks.
• Travel up to 50%, including potential overseas assignments.
• Certifications: PE license, CFPS, or working toward these credentials.
• Minimum 10 years of consulting experience in fire and property loss control.
• Experience servicing major accounts.
• Ability to draw sound conclusions from data and standards.
• Communicate findings clearly in reports, emails, and letters.
• Manage workload independently.
• Recognized technical expertise in the field.
