The Senior Field Application Specialist is responsible for technical leadership in circular economy markets and will support winning our most important strategically-aligned opportunities. The main objective is to secure wins on exclusive win-the-spec opportunities by being a key opinion leader in our industry. This position reports to the Sales Director, Europe, Energy+ business unit, and is part of the regional European sales team. The associate works remotely. The preferred countries of residence are Germany, France, Spain, Italy, or Poland.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Provide Technical Leadership for assigned market(s)

2. Lead as an ambassador, strategist, and negotiator to secure wins aligned with Energy+ strategy, including exclusive WTS wins and existing product sales in the assigned market(s)

3. Develop and maintain Strategies and Opportunities via Initiatives and specific projects

4. Gather Market Insights (Trends & Drivers, Competition, Technology, Partners)

5. Be a regional expert on regulations and policy related to the assigned market(s) and geography

The essential requirements of the job include:

1. Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, or related field, or over 10 years of experience in technical filtration support

2. At least 3 years of experience in assigned market(s) with demonstrated technical ability in relevant key technologies; experience in filtration is preferred

3. Experience working on projects in the Energy Transition, Chemical, Refinery, and/or Oil & Gas industries is a plus

4. Ability to collaborate across an organization and work with stakeholders and support divisions

5. Proven ability to coach sales, support teams, and external customers

6. Willingness to challenge the status quo and think creatively for continuous improvement

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

1. Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time across Europe, including mainland Europe, STAN countries, Baltics, and Turkey. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

2. Fluency in another language besides English is a plus
