Qualifikationen

For our Central Export Control department, we are looking for a new Senior Export Control Classifier. As a Senior Export Control Classifier, you will be responsible for the assignment of the correct export control codes, in line with SGRE product specifications, to ensure compliance with international trade regulations. You will be in direct contact with various internal and external stakeholders worldwide and will support on Governmental foreign trade audit.

How to contribute to our vision

Your responsibilities will be:

• Ensure data consistency within defined product categories and across various systems.
• Assign correct export control codes, in line with SGRE product specifications, to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• Continuous optimization of processes and systems via digitalization and AI solutions based on the analysis of the internal classification processes.
• Participate in community meetings and internal calls to best support the business and to improve export control awareness.
• Offer support in data migration activities and inter-related projects.
• Systems (SAP) updates and reporting.
• Archiving and maintenance of activity/change trackers.
• Prepare and conduct classification training sessions.

What you need to make a difference

Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

• Good experience with classifying products that fall under category 5 (hardware, software, technology).
• Sound IT and software skills.
• Good understanding of Wind Industry and wind turbine functionality / experience with reading technical drawings and technical specifications.
• Detail/solution-oriented, well-structured, extremely resourceful team player with excellent analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and capable of working with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and organizational levels.
• Strong work ethic and able to solve problems pragmatically.
• Experience in the use of SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Travel may be required.

It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken are important. Knowledge of the German language is a major plus and Spanish is considered advantageous.
