Your Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional for the position of Senior Expert in HR Strategy & Consulting. You will play a key role in developing the HR Strategy 2030 and shaping the future of our people agenda at Merck. You will work with a talented team and engage with senior stakeholders, including the Chief People Officer and global HR leadership. The HR Strategy & Consulting team is responsible for:

• Developing and implementing an agile, business-focused HR function aligned with Merck's goals and market trends
• Consulting on strategic HR projects, including workforce shaping with agentic AI
• Using analytics to measure success and anticipate trends with workforce analytics, scenario modeling, and people cost analysis
• Contributing to strategic planning and maintaining transparency through HR portfolio processes and financial oversight
• Collaborating across functions to deliver high-quality content for executive briefings and presentations

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in strategic management consulting
• Deep understanding of HR best practices and trends
• Experience in data and digital transformation
• Proven success in managing large-scale, complex projects internationally
• Ability to collaborate across teams and levels
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High integrity, accountability, and empathy for people topics
