Senior Expert Cloud Security Architecture (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Identification of internal and external cybersecurity trends for DHL Group (e.g., regulations, threat scenarios, technological advancements, etc.) and alignment of trends with existing and future business requirements and strategies as well as technology development, particularly in the area of cloud architectures and processes.
• Creation of group-wide risk assessments for technical security architectures (costs, benefits, risk minimization, etc.) as well as derivation and presentation of recommendations for adjusting or implementing security technologies.
• Continuous stakeholder management with various representatives of the business and Business IT to identify areas for action and develop and implement solutions for IT security management (especially Cloud Security Management).
• Development of high-level security architectures, from requirement gathering to derivation of technological measures and roadmaps.
• Derivation of low-level security solutions, adaptation of essential cybersecurity standards and related guidelines, and establishment of basic security configuration standards for all cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Development and maintenance of artifacts of the (cloud-native/cloud-based) security architecture that can be reused in projects and operations for utilizing security functions.
• Support of solution implementation as a 'Subject Matter Expert' in collaboration with external IT service providers or DHL IT Services.
• Exchange and coordination with, as well as presentation to, group-wide working groups, the IT board, various business units or divisions, and their IT security departments.
• Continuous validation of the cloud infrastructure and other reference architectures concerning best security practices and recommendation of changes to improve security and reduce risks.
• Application of best practices to optimize relevant systems and processes (e.g., based on ISO or NIST).

Your profile

• Completed university degree, preferably in computer science or business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Many years of relevant professional experience in IT security management, e.g., in the domains of cloud and flexible workload management.
• In-depth expertise in information technology – ideally with relevant certification in a role as a security architect.
• Knowledge in the field of information security (e.g., evidenced by Certified Information Security Manager certificate or a comparable certification).
• Skills and experience in improving business processes and experience in designing and implementing partially disruptive approaches in security architectures.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong team player and very good relationship management.
• High adaptability regarding different working methods and cultures.
