The Role

As a Senior Experiential Lead (m/f/d) you’ll be responsible for developing innovative, insight-driven experiential concepts that elevate brands within the unique context of airport retail. You’ll lead the creative vision from idea to execution — shaping concepts that connect brands to their audiences through unforgettable experiences.

Tasks
  • Develop and lead experiential concepts for airport-based activations, from high-impact pop-ups to immersive, tech-enabled installations.
  • Combine storytelling, digital integration, spatial design, and consumer insights to craft experiences that resonate with both global travellers and local audiences.
  • Collaborate with strategists, designers, technologists, architects, and brand partners to bring ideas to life.
  • Balance creative ambition with commercial understanding, aligning activations to brand objectives and business KPIs.
  • Stay ahead of trends in travel, retail, experiential tech, and design to continually push our creative offering forward.
Requirements
  • 7+ years in experiential, brand activation, creative direction, or spatial design roles, preferably with experience in retail or public environments.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing innovative experiences that blend physical, digital, and human interaction.
  • Excellent concept development skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to lead projects from ideation to execution within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of production processes, architectural constraints, and digital integration.
  • A strategic mindset — you understand how creativity drives both engagement and business impact.

The role requires some willingness to travel between our Hamburg and Berlin offices, as well as occasional client visits. And the role is based in Berlin and belongs to GHARAGE Studio.
