About the Role:

Join Confluent's globally recognized Executive Advisory team to shape the future of real-time data and organizational transformation for leading enterprises. As an Executive Advisor, you will collaborate with C-level executives and technical leaders to adopt, scale, and derive value from data streaming platforms.

What You Will Do:

1. Lead strategic advisory engagements with major enterprise customers, supporting digital transformation through real-time data streaming.
2. Partner with executive stakeholders to develop strategic visions, organizational structures, and technology roadmaps for enterprise adoption of event streaming.
3. Design and deliver tailored workshops, reviews, and benchmarking capabilities, facilitating transformation and documenting pathways to measurable outcomes.
4. Share practical frameworks and industry best practices on data streaming, governance, platform adoption, and data product lifecycle.
5. Develop Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for event streaming, enabling organizations to scale from pilots to platform-wide adoption, securing top-down and grassroots support.
6. Create and present thought leadership content, including blueprints, assessment tools, and strategic guides.
7. Serve as a trusted advisor to align Confluent resources for customer success and facilitate their journey to becoming data-driven enterprises.
8. Mentor internal talent and support capability building within the team.

What You Will Bring:

1. Experience in executive advisory, enterprise architecture, technology consulting, or senior solutions roles, especially with large-scale data transformations.
2. Ability to engage and influence C-level and technical stakeholders at major organizations.
3. Experience designing operating models, governance, and ways of working for data streaming, cloud, analytics, or enterprise integration platforms.
4. Thought leadership with experience producing technical frameworks and industry content; strong presentation skills.
5. Strategic mindset with technical acumen; capable of synthesizing best practices and delivering solutions in complex environments.
6. Passion for organizational change, platform adoption, and creating market impact through strategic initiatives.

What Gives You an Edge:

1. Knowledge of Apache Kafka and/or other streaming technologies.
2. Proficiency in additional programming languages.
3. Experience designing big data, stream processing, or distributed systems for Fortune 1000 companies.
4. Experience working with global teams.
