The Role

The EU Customer Fulfillment (CF) Process Engineers team comprises operational leaders focused on process standardization and continuous improvement within the EU Customer Fulfillment Network. The team captures best practices from top-performing sites, validates them as official standards, and accelerates technological advancements. They enhance the technical knowledge and process expertise of operational leaders across the FC network. EU CF Process Experts (PE) ensure operations teams are equipped with the necessary expertise to implement technology and process improvements effectively. The team aims to minimize variation across shifts, buildings, and regions to optimize performance, working closely with Process System Engineering (PSE), ACES, PM Central Ops, Launch teams, Operations Engineering, RME, and others.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Process Path Ownership and Excellence
    • Serve as the subject matter expert for process paths across the EU, establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
    • Review and validate best practices, oversee their rollout across sites.
    • Act as the primary contact for the ACES project rollout in the EU, ensuring seamless implementation.
  2. Project Management and Optimization
    • Manage internal PE initiatives, such as the Top Hours project.
    • Support site PEs, regional managers, and senior managers in project implementation.
    • Provide support for operational efforts like LEEP, PCC, and shift management, both remotely and onsite.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as the main PE contact for central functions like RME.
    • Support Kaikaku (rapid improvement) events.
    • Generate PE OP1 project intake for process paths.
    • Partner with the global Business Management team to establish and scale process standards worldwide.
About the Team

The EU Process Excellence Team is a group of Process Engineers across Europe, part of the Operations team. Our goal is to eliminate process variation in Fulfillment Centers, promote best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving. We believe every defect is an opportunity to raise standards daily.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree from an accredited institution
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (C1 level)
  • Experience in Industrial Engineering, Business Process Engineering, Quality Operations, or Logistics
  • Strong experience with Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies
  • Proficiency in German
  • Experience in multi-country or cross-regional continuous improvement environments
  • Knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills to senior leadership
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to motivate teams
