We’re growing our team in Germany and are looking for a Senior Enterprise Sales Manager to join the Pendo team in Munich!

Pendo's customer base includes large, well-known companies like Verizon, Morgan Stanley, LabCorp, OpenTable, Okta, Salesforce, and Zendesk. We’re seeking an experienced Enterprise seller to expand our portfolio of customers across the DACH region.

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities and closing enterprise sales deals with major brands and enterprise businesses across the DACH region. This role is supported by in-region marketing and sales engineering and reports to the RVP Enterprise Sales DACH. The individual will be an individual contributor with a strong network of contacts in the enterprise landscape in Germany and the wider DACH region.

To succeed as our Senior Sales Manager, you’ll be a strong new business specialist with a focus on pipeline generation, capable of developing strategies and sales activities, pitching, and closing enterprise deals with stakeholders at the CEO, CTO, VP of Product, MD, and CTO levels.

Role Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing full-cycle deals from prospecting to closing.
  2. Researching and prospecting target enterprise companies using various tools.
  3. Building and managing a territory plan and strategy for targeted accounts.
  4. Demonstrating the Pendo platform to new and prospective customers.
  5. Collaborating with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive revenue and relationships.
  6. Guiding prospects through trials and proof of concepts.
  7. Negotiating contracts and pricing with deal desk and sales operations teams.
  8. Contributing to Pendo's sales culture and fostering happiness among colleagues and partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in SaaS.
  • Proven success closing deals worth $100k to $1M+ ARR.
  • A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Ability to learn and apply technology basics to business situations.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Fluency in German and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MEDDPICC and/or Force Management methodologies.
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Technical or product management background.
  • Experience as an SDR/BDR or with strong pipeline generation skills.
