As a Senior Enterprise Account Manager (New Business), you will drive the growth and shape the future of innovative technology solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to establish Amazon Web Services as a key cloud technology provider and business partner within the commercial sector across strategic accounts in Germany.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical knowledge that enables them to engage with C-level, IT leaders, and various lines of business. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan.

Are you a seasoned enterprise sales professional with a proven track record of developing business across the largest companies in Germany? Do you have a keen business acumen and technical expertise to help establish AWS as a critical technology platform and strategic business partner for large enterprises?

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain C-suite relationships at Germany's largest enterprises, focusing on business value creation and digital transformation
  • Create compelling business cases demonstrating ROI and strategic advantages of cloud adoption
  • Identify and quantify business value opportunities across different lines of business
  • Develop executive-level value propositions that align AWS solutions with customer's strategic objectives
  • Drive cloud adoption by translating technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional teams (Sales, Solutions Architecture, Specialists, Professional Services) to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to inform product strategy
Basic Qualifications
  • Substantial enterprise sales experience demonstrating progressive growth and impact in strategic account growth and demonstrated expertise in business value selling to C-level executives, including financial modeling and ROI analysis
  • Strong track record of developing transformational account strategies and proven ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes
  • Strong technical aptitude with cloud solutions and architectures (equivalent combinations of experience and technical knowledge will be considered)
  • Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
  • Experience in the German enterprise market
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical background in engineering or computer science, MBA or equivalent business degree
  • Expertise in value-based selling methodologies and cross-functional selling experience with technical teams and partners
  • Experience with German business culture and enterprise sales cycles
  • Additional European language skills
  • Track record of complex cloud solution sales and a passion for building diverse, high-performing teams
