Job Description

(Senior) Engineer Standard Cells (f/m/div)

We are offering a position in our team for standard cell development. Your task will be the preparation and delivery of standard cell libraries as well as special libraries for Infineon products. In addition, you will support our technical experts for new developments.

Standard cells are the main building blocks to create digital and computing chips and are used in a wide variety of Infineon products. Therefore, you will be providing and verifying standard cell libraries across a variety of state-of-the-art processes, but also for the latest ones.

In your new role you will:

1. Support our experts in all aspects of design and verification of standard cells
2. Perform standard development tasks autonomously
3. Run quality checks to ensure correctness of data
4. Perform the Infineon delivery process for standard cell libraries
5. Communicate closely within the team

Your profile

You are enthusiastic about teaming up with your new colleagues to provide leading-edge chip methodology and always find the best solution to be applied to our products. You are communicative and motivated to drive improvements and autonomously organize and execute your tasks.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a similar qualification
• At least 1 year experience in transistor level design and verification as well as in SPICE simulation and physical verification
• Basic understanding of hardware description
• Programming skills in Perl, Python and Tcl
• Ideally first experience with advanced methods for transistor level verification (e.g., MC simulation)
• Fluent communication skills in English; German is a plus
