Senior Engineer Optical Tile Inspection - ODIN Expert (m/f/d)

Job Overview:

Ensuring high availability and efficiency of tile inspection systems installed in roof tile production lines.

Building up, maintaining, and transferring specific know-how.

Standardisation of equipment (hardware and set up) for on-line tile inspection.

Further and new development of efficient tile inspection systems.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Optimisation of established on-line inspection systems at our production plants.
2. Undertaking of performance assessments and examinations.
3. Remote and on-site support of our production sites.
4. Training courses for inspection systems.
5. Developing of Standard Operating Procedures.
6. Know-how transfer between production sites amongst themselves and with PS.
7. Preparation and support of installation of new inspection systems.
8. Development of new on-line inspection systems for roof tiles.
9. Investigation of new inspection systems.
10. Further development of existing or known systems.
11. Selection of equipment for trials and production.
12. Assessment of inspection performance.
13. Start-up of new inspection systems.
14. Staff training for inspection systems.
15. Scout, specify, test, and roll out more capable equipment.
16. Define, train, roll out, and supervise best practice maintenance.

Deliver projects and plans in a timely manner, high quality work, and within budgets. Develop & define a standard plant layout based on the changing environment “Fit for Future.”

Your Profile:

1. Several years of experience in engineering or comparable experience.
2. Extensive experience in the field of optical on-line inspection, preferably of roof tiles.
3. Very good communication skills, team spirit, and co-operation on a par.
4. Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English.
5. Independent and creative individual with the ability to think out of the box.
