What you'll be doing

Senior Engineer - Networking (m/f/d) Munich/Hamburg/RheinMain area

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and optimizing complex network infrastructures using your expertise.
• Designing, implementing, and documenting data networks as an expert (w/m/d).
• Analyzing network issues and performing troubleshooting for clients.
• Using automation solutions for installation and configuration of network infrastructures.
• Leading workshops and developing solutions with clients.
• Assuming leadership roles in complex projects.

What we expect

• A successful technical degree (e.g., computer science, engineering, electrical engineering) or equivalent technical training.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in networking, with a professional-level certification required and an expert-level certification preferred.
• A structured approach with meticulous, result-oriented work, especially in problem analysis and troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools like Ansible and scripting languages like Python.
• Experience with Software Defined Networking (Cisco ACI / Cisco SDA / SD-WAN) or cloud environments (Azure / AWS) is desirable.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
