We are currently seeking Senior Engineer (m/f/d) Suspension Design. The successful candidates will be responsible for design projects and related documentation of various components and assemblies. They will undertake 2D layouts, calculations, 3D design and development, and design of sub-assemblies. The roles may also include defining rig tests. Working closely as part of a team of designers, you will produce designs (including tooling) and drawings, and provide full documentation in English. An essential part of the role is to ensure on-time delivery of projects within budget.

Take responsibility for motorsport projects such as:

  • Suspension design and development
  • Suspension kinematic layout
  • Suspension calculation and validation
  • Manufacturing processes of suspension components
  • Welded assemblies
  • ADM additive manufacturing and design, including tooling for ADM parts

Be responsible for the conceptual and detailed design of race suspensions, undertake suspension kinematic layouts, calculations, and validation. Produce designs and drawings, ensuring full documentation in English, and deliver projects on time within budget.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent
  • Possess excellent design skills, with knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and materials
  • Have experience with motorsport parts layout and high-performance component design (e.g., F1, WEC, WRC, DTM, GT3, GT4)
  • Support automotive engineering prototype projects
  • Be proficient with CATIA V5 (solids, surfaces, drafting), FEM, classical calculation methods, data management systems (Teamcenter), and MS Office
  • Be a responsible, analytical, creative team player with good project management skills, interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to meet tight deadlines
