Qualifikationen

We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer (m/f/d) for Composite Tool Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing tools, jigs, and fixtures for composite production, inspection, and testing. Working closely as part of a team of designers, you will produce designs and drawings, and provide full documentation in English. An essential part of the role is to ensure on-time delivery of projects within budget.

Your tasks:

  • Conceptualize and design tooling, jigs, and fixtures, from initial scheming to final design release
  • Generate detailed specifications and drawings for composite production tools
  • Develop tooling, jigs, and fixtures for high-end race car components, ensuring proper documentation in English
  • Collaborate with production departments to optimize designs for manufacturing efficiency
  • Plan workload for the design group in partnership with engineers and production
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Your skills:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
  • Significant experience in motorsport parts design and high-performance component layout
  • F1 experience (minimum 4-5 years) is highly advantageous
  • Proficiency in tool design technologies, CATIA V5/3DX, and additional experience in CATIA CPD/CPM is a plus
  • Understanding of composite fabrication and machine shop operations
  • Strong teamwork, stress management, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
