Job Description: Senior Engineer Electrical Instrumentation and Control (EI&C) (m/w/d)

Job Scope

Full-time | 40 hours/week. We are expanding our team in the Electrical Instrumentation and Control (EI&C) sector! If you are an engineer or technician with passion and the right commitment, we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities:

1. Participate in exciting client projects within interdisciplinary project teams.
2. Create concepts, plan, specify, and tender components for the entire EI&C field.
3. Develop energy distribution concepts (MV and LV levels), switchgear, field instrumentation, automation technology, process control systems, industrial networking, and fieldbus technology.
4. Serve as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and VTU process teams.
5. Coordinate trades and subcontractors.
6. Support commissioning and acceptance of services.
7. Contribute to risk analyses.
8. Develop and demonstrate functional safety (SIL - Safety Integrity Level) or calculate intrinsic safety proofs.

Candidate Profile:

1. Technical education as an engineer (diploma, master, or bachelor), technician, or master with at least 8 years of professional experience in electrical, MSR, or automation technology.
2. Extensive experience in plant planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical, chemical, oil, or gas industries.
3. Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and guidelines.
4. Experience in at least two project phases: planning, procurement, realization, testing, commissioning, documentation.
5. Excellent communication skills in German and English.
6. Teamwork and organizational skills.
